Switching to reusable products is a wonderful way to care for your baby and the planet at the same time. But if you’re just starting out, you may have some questions about how to use them in the most practical way possible. Here are 5 simple tips to integrate these products into your routine — without the hassle.
1. Always have a kit ready to leave the house
Pack a bag with reusable essentials: a cup, a spoon, a full water bottle, a bib and a cloth. That way, you’ll always be ready for meals out without needing disposable products.
Extra tip: Our Squeez packs are perfect for transporting purees, yogurts or baby food in a practical and hygienic way.
2. Wash immediately after use (or soak)
To avoid stains or odors, wash products immediately after use. If this is not possible, soak them in warm water until you can wash them. Simple and effective.
Use neutral detergent and a soft brush — this will further extend the life of the products.
3. Use squeeze bottles to freeze small portions
Our squeeze bottles can also be used to freeze baby food or mashed fruit. It’s great for busy days: just defrost and it’s ready!
➡️ You can even make different portions of each one, and use the colors to identify the flavors.
4. Create a “meal corner” at home
Leave your baby's utensils accessible so he or she can start picking them up on his or her own. This encourages independence and makes mealtimes more interactive.
Suction cups, spill-proof cups and anatomical spoons are very helpful at this stage.
5. You don’t need to change everything at once
The transition to reusable products can be gradual. Start with the ones you use the most (like cups or water bottles) and adapt the rest over time.
Every little change makes a big difference.
